Windows Draw 6 Readme

This file answers some common questions about Windows Draw.

This CD-ROM contains applications designed for Windows 95 or Windows NT 4.0 or greater. These applications will not operate on Windows 3.1 or earlier. It is recommended that you upgrade your system to support one of these 2 platforms.


RECOMMENDED DISPLAY SETTINGS

Windows Draw 6 will operate on any VGA display. However, for best performance and usability, it is strongly recommended that you set your display resolution to at least 800x600 (i.e. more than 640x480). It is also recommended that you choose a display color depth of at least 16-bit, high-color, or better, depending on the abilities of your display adapter. To change these settings on your computer, select Start, Settings, Control Panel, and double-click on the Display icon. Changing certain settings here may cause the need to reboot your machine.


FONTS

"After installing Windows Draw, I could not find all the fonts that are supposed to be included. How do I get these?"

When you choose the Typical installation, Windows Draw only installs a select set of fonts onto your system. You can get all of the fonts by running the installation again and selecting the Custom option. Although the Fonts line item is checked, this does not indicate that all fonts are currently chosen. Select the Fonts line item and choose Details. With the font list up, choose the All button, or just choose the fonts you want to install.

Some fonts will always be installed onto your system, regardless of installation choices. These fonts are provided to ensure that the projects provided in Windows Draw will always have correct fonts for display. These fonts are...
